The Hunger Games was the FIRST book in the history of our school bookclub (three years now) that EVERYONE liked! I, too, love the book and am anxiously awaiting the sequel.

Thanks for sharing the cartoon - what a nightmare!

I too enjoyed this book. I keep trying to imagine how the sequel will play out and I just can't come to any real conclusion.

I can see this becoming a movie. People are really into reality TV shows these days and I think this could be a very interesting movie.

This book does leave you with wanting more and wondering what role the two main characters will play in the sequel! Do you wonder if some reality TV show gave Ms. Collins the idea for such a book? It would sure disappear quickly if it turned up in our preview/review shelves at Library Services.

Hunger Games is a fantastic read, and I too am eagerly awaiting the sequel. I'd probably stop slightly short of killing for it, but if you get that advanced reader's copy, I'm hoping you'll share!
