City of Ember series ends
Jen Robinson’s Book Page blog reviews the fourth and final book in the City of Ember series, The Diamond of Darkhold by Jeanne Du Prau. Sounds like another book that I need to put on my “to read” list!
Other books in this series are: The City of Ember (of course), The People of Sparks, and The Prophet of Yonwood.

I am thrilled to hear a movie is being made. This book was so popular among my 5th graders this past school year that I couldn’t keep it in the library. I can’t wait to let them know a movie is coming soon!

I LOVED these books, but I’ve been out of the library for a few years and did not realize there was a third AND fourth book. *blush* Now I have to read them. I sure hope the movie is as terrific as the book was. It is always such a disappointment when movies are really off from the book. Blood and Chocolate was one. – Oops fantasy – werewolves I think it was.

i love the city of ember series. i am in eigth grade and we had to read it for english. at first it didn’t really make sense. we just got done watching the movie yesterday. i loved it!!! but i have to admit that it was off from the book quite a bit in the middle of the movie and you guys left some things out of the movie that was in the book. but i absoulutely love the book and now i am reding the people of sparks and so far so good!!!
