Twilight fever!

The Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer has become a teen phenomenon. With a movie version coming out in December and the next and final installment, Breaking Dawn, set to debut in 10 days, Twilight fever is everywhere!

Last week’s Entertainment Weekly cover story called author Stephenie Meyer the “next J.K. Rowling” and featured the cast of the new movie. EW.com’s top feature of the day is a sneak peek at Chapter One of Breaking Dawn.

Somehow I don’t think the movie version will live up to the novel, but I’ll let you judge for yourself. Watch the trailers here.

I have just joined the Twilight band-wagon and I’m lovin’ it! I read Twilight while on vacation and am almost finished with New Moon. I can’t wait for the movie…but you’re right…it can’t be as good as the book.

My niece loved Twilight, but can’t seem to get through New Moon. She says Bella is irritating her. She has a real crush on Edward, though!

Okay-I read all three books in 2 weeks. I have all of my summer teachers addicted, and now we can’t wait ’til Breaking Dawn comes out. I have always loved stories and movies involving vampires-so I am weird. But finally characters that are not the monsters everyone always pictures. I am sooooo hooked!!!

I know that y’all will be surprised that I read all 4 books this summer. Hooked. Can’t wait for the movie. I always like the book better but with the special effects that are possible these days I think the movie will be stunning.
